How Much Is My Initial Your Store Exeter Payment?

Depending on the size of the unit, the preliminary payment for your new Exeter self-storage unit may differ. However, we always ask for one month’s fee in advance – this will include the licence fee and VAT mentioned in your quote. We never have hidden charges. See all of our self-storage prices here.

How Long Can I Keep My Exeter Self Storage Unit?

All of our self-storage units are rented on an open-ended contract so you can continue to store your belongings at Your Store Exeter for as long as you need to. With no catches or hidden fees, you can still terminate your contract with a seven-day notice period.

If you do decide to end your contract with us, you will need to give us seven days’ notice. When you end your contract, any overpayment will be returned to you. However, we reserve the right to deduct a reasonable amount to convert any unpaid fees or damage to the unit or to replace any unreturned key fobs.

Do I Need To Buy My Own Padlock?

You can purchase your own padlock if you wish. However, we will provide you with a uniquely coded proximity keyfob. This ensures that no unauthorised person has access to the site, but customers can come and go as they please. Your keyfob will also give you access to your unit.

What Happens If I Lose My Proximity Key Fob?

If you lose your proximity device, please contact us immediately so that we can disable it, to ensure it cannot be used to gain access to the site and your unit. You will then be issued with a new proximity device for a small fee of £15.

Can I Move Storage Units?

If you find that you require additional storage space or if you no longer need the space that you have, we can help you change the size of your storage unit at any time. If you upgrade to a larger unit, your monthly rent may have to increase.

Will My Self Storage Unit Be Accessible By Car?

All of our storage units are easily accessible by car. If you require regular access to your storage unit with a car or larger vehicle, please let us know and we can arrange a unit with suitable access – subject to availability.

When Can I Access My Unit?

Once you have been given your proximity fob, which gives you access to the Exeter self-storage site, you will be able to access your self-storage unit any time between, 7am and 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm on the weekends. If you need access to your belongings outside of these times, please contact the office who may be able to assist.
